Lots of help showed up this past weekend and much progress was made on several areas of the main line extension. This shows new ballast on the track north and east of the new bridge.

Ballast is all the way to the grade crossing poured last week.
This is the north side of the loop where there will be a run around track plus two stub sidings. Some of the track is this area was laid out shortly after the photo was taken.
The concrete foundations for the three bridge towers were poured last weekend.
Painting of the bridge towers and beams is underway. Hopefully one of the towers will be erected this weekend with the remainder shortly thereafter.
Car Barn: The framing of the car barn extension is complete and awaiting arrival of the steel for the roof later this week.
Martin House: Some Blue Martins have moved into the new bird house. Photo shows a female (light colored belly). The males are dark all over.
