Fall Cleanup Work Session, Nov 6 - 7

Join us this Friday, November 6th and Saturday, November 7th as we work on preparing the railroad for this coming Winter and Spring. The primary projects are mulching, blowing and disposing of the leaf debris on and around the railroad and its associated right of way. This will include removing leaf debris and mud from the drainage pipes and ditches so that the water can properly drain. We have a couple of leaf blowers but if you have one you like and are willing to do so please bring it along! There are also other items on our list this weekend as well. We have a tulip tree between the two car barns in Barney Yard that needs cut down and removed, a ditch for electric and fiber that needs to be dug between the Apex II barn and the new subpanel in that area that needs completed, we have a small ballasting job that needs to be done outside of the East portal of the tunnel in Accutie, spreading some rock up the hill to APEX that is badly rutted and if we have enough help, we have fixed our log splitter and could use some help splitting and stacking the wood in the campground and in Vanderkarr. So plenty to do and any assistance you could provide would be greatly appreciated. So come out and join us this weekend!!!
