It was a beautiful weekend - sunshine and low 80s temperatures----best weekend of the summer. There were several large steam locomotives including a 2-6-6-2 Mallet. There were also quite a few smaller electric and gasoline locomotives that had good speed so as not to get in the way of the big guys. There was a lot of action on the logging line Saturday afternoon including a traffic jam at the switchbacks. The long tack on the upper switchback made a useful passing siding. Some snapshots of the meet below. The webmaster was having too much fun running his railbus to do a thorough job of documenting the activities.
